Dave The Diver's Final DLC Is The Perfect Crossover
Submerging next year. After years of content updates and DLC expansions, Mintrocket has announced that the final wave of DLC for Dave the Diver will launch in 'Early 2027', and it's a crossover that feels like it was always meant to be. Dave will be teaming up with Subnautica 2 in the free expansion, adding the ocean moon Proteus into the gameplay loop, complete with its fair share of alien creatures.

I am not a huge fan of collaboration DLCs, mostly because my curmudgeonly self can only see them as attempts at multiple companies trying to profit off of one another's things. But I do have to admit that yes, the just announced collab between Dave the Diver and Subnautica 2 does make total sense. Certainly more sense than the Godzilla one from a couple of years back.

At today's Triple-i Showcase, Dave the Diver studio Mintrocket announced a surprisingly obvious, and perfectly fitting, collaboration. The game's final DLC, set for release in early 2027, brings the worlds of Subnautica 2 and Dave the Diver together.
