An interesting technical mash-up has surfaced on the Sega homebrew scene: a 32X port of smash arcade racer Daytona USA (1994) that is basing its build on the engine of 32X release Virtua Racing Deluxe (1994) A short test clip was uploaded to YouTube earlier today by "CamTrack", while a dump for the build is featured on the GitHub of modder "MatiasZanolli". Native PC Port Of XBLA Daytona USA Is Here, If You're Willing To Do Some Leg Work

Gentleman, head to GitHub. We could soon see a host of native ports of the 2011 XBLA version of Daytona USA in the near future, thanks to a static recompilation project created by Subarasheese. No public releases have been made available as yet, so you'll have to follow the lengthy build process yourself to create a PC version – but we can expect a ready-to-use build to appear fairly soon.
