Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns
What critics said
Completexbox75Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns is a great walk down memory lane. My rose-tinted spectacles have been removed, and I still love this game! Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns does a fantastic job of retaining the original charm and action while delivering a whole new experience. Yes, it is a little rough at times, but I don’t care. I think it’s great and you should grab a copy from the Xbox Store!
CGMagazine75Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns can still be a bit obtuse at times, but makes up for it with fresh QoL improvements and a genuinely interesting new game mode.
Digitally Downloaded70There is a lot that can be done with Defender of the Crown, so while I’m very happy to have the original game playable on my Switch, practically speaking, this game is like buying a retro game, I can’t help but feel that this was a wasted opportunity, overall.
