Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III]
What critics said
The Games Machine80The Kingdom Hearts Collection I–III gathers nearly the entire "Seekers of Darkness" saga and serves as an excellent entry point for those who have never followed Sora and his companions. Conversely, those who have already completed the journey on last-gen consoles are unlikely to find reasons to experience it all over again.
GamingBolt80Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] is enormous, charming, and mechanically fascinating, but it remains an awkward proposition for newcomers and isn't compelling enough for veterans.
GamerFocus90Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] is a massive game bundle that encapsulates one of the most ambitious RPG franchises of the last 20 years. This collection stands out for offering the definitive versions of the saga's main titles, visually memorable world design, an exceptional soundtrack, and a vast amount of content—including the Re Mind expansion and other extras that cover story developments from titles no longer available on the market. However, the collection omits key installments like Melody of Memory and other perspectives from the Chi mobile saga. Additionally, converting titles such as 358/2 Days and Re:coded into mere movies devoid of gameplay diminishes the collection's value in terms of game preservation. Despite this—and considering its price—this collection represents a great opportunity to get ready for the launch of Kingdom Hearts 4.
