Rumour: Metroid Ravenous Might Not Be The Only Metroid Project In The Pipeline

"We eating, Metroid fans!". Metroid could be making a return sooner than expected after a new rating for a project known as 'Metroid Ravenous' was recently spotted. If this wasn't already enough news about the galactic bounty hunter for one week, VGC's editor-in-chief Andy Robinson has now chimed in, claiming even more could be on the way. Here's what he had to say in response to reports about a new Metroid title being spotted on Brazil's rating website:

Mysterious 'Metroid Ravenous' Game Rating Appears Online

Zeb-easy now. A mysterious rating for a project called Metroid Ravenous has been spotted on the Brazilian Ministry of Justice and Public Security site by Universo Nintendo (thanks, VGC). The rating was swiftly removed, but a screenshot has been posted to verify its authenticity. Filed by Nintendo of America, it refers to a project in production in 2026, but further details are unknown at this stage, and no official announcement has been made by Nintendo.
