The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on Switch 2 is a technically ambitious, occasionally messy resurrection of one of Bethesda’s finest RPGs. The 30fps performance and frame-pacing issues stop it from being the definitive version, but the visual overhaul, modernised systems, complete content package and sheer convenience of handheld Cyrodiil make this an excellent way to revisit an old friend.

It's been just over a year since Oblivion Remastered got update 1.2, a patch aiming to improve its performance and fix a bunch of bugs that'd been floating around since release.
