Skyblivion, that massive Oblivion remake mod which was originally set to release last year, finally seems to be on the verge of arrival. Skyblivion "will not be shadow dropping after over a decade of hard work", say modders still planning a regular release date reveal despite delays

Skyblivion won't be following the lead of Bethesda's Oblivion Remastered with a sudden shadow drop of its own, the folks behind the massive Oblivion remake mod have confirmed. Instead, they've plans to reveal a new release date for the mod, which was previously being aimed to arrive late last year, when they're ready.

Skyblivion devs are "on the hunt" for some "final, vital" veteran hands to get the Oblivion remake mod over the line this year

This comes after a delay late last year, which saw Skyblivion's arrival pushed to 2026, following some accusations from a former dev that it was being rushed out of the door.
