Stellar Blade's Switch 2 Release Will Include A Frame Generation Toggle

Shift Up has been listening to feedback. In case you missed it, a few upcoming Switch 2 releases will experiment with frame generation to help lift the action to 60fps. For Dragon's Dogma 2, the game's producer recently revealed there would be a toggle option to turn this feature on or off. Stellar Blade is the other game making use of it, but it was mandatory in the demo, so there is no option to change the setting.

Opinion: I Think I'm Missing Something About Stellar Blade On Switch 2

Not quite landing. I’ve been hearing a lot of hype around Stellar Blade - that is when fans haven’t been lamenting the sequel’s awful AI music video the creators decided was a good idea. I’d heard it was Bayonetta meets Dark Souls, with flashy, acrobatic movement, and carefully considered combat with tight timings. And considering it’s coming to Switch 2 and utilising new technology for the platform in the form of FSR frame generation, I thought we were going to be in for a grand old time. Read

'Nothing Is Impossible' - Stellar Blade Developer Responds To Demand For An Xbox Port

They say they just need time. It's been a weird week-or-so for Stellar Blade. A sequel to the highly popular PS5 and PC game was announced at the State of Play last week (called Stellar Blade: Blood Rain), and the developer hinted that it might be a multiplatform release. However, at the Nintendo Direct on Tuesday, the original game was announced for Switch 2 but not Xbox. This unsurprisingly caused a lot of Xbox fans to bombard SHIFT UP Corporation (the developer and publisher of Stellar Blade)
