What critics said
Digital Chumps70Terrible Lizards stretches its intriguing dinosaur theme part premise further than expected. While numerous fluid chase sequences inject adrenaline into the game, its momentum is hampered by frequent narrative and technical issues.
Game Sandwich60Overall, Terrible Lizards has an enjoyable environment and creepy atmosphere, but AI bugs and a shaky parkour system really hampered the experience for me. For a game that prides itself on parkour and staying away from combat, these two things should’ve been refined further. The setting of the Dalton’s Dinos attraction stands out to me as one of the best horror settings I’ve been in and left me wanting more, and the lore built into this title through its various levels had me invested in the outcome of this mystery right up until the very end, which makes it a game that I can recommend, but with a few concessions.
Gaming Furever100I’m so hyped that games like Terrible Lizards exist. It’s truly like a visit to a gaming roadside attraction. It’s a short day retreat that you enjoy the whole time, marvel at while you’re inside of it, and smile about as you walk out. It doesn’t have to be perfect in every way, and it’s made to be a blast while you’re experiencing it.
