Following its big Summer Game Fest unveiling earlier this year, Until Dawn 2 has been given a release date as part of Sony's latest State of Play showcase. And it's not far away at all, launching for PS5 in the suitably dark depths of winter: arriving 28th January next year.

Out in 2027. UK dev Firesprite’s been working on Until Dawn 2 for at least four years already, according to Stranger Things actor Dacre Montgomery, who’s part of the cast.
