I wish that Woodo was supported on the ROG Ally as it would be an ideal game to take on the go and play on vacation or towards the end of the day. If you are looking for a puzzle game for a younger gamer or a relaxing game to play for a few hours, Woodo is a fantastic option.

Its gorgeous presentation, both graphics and sound, makes it irresistible to interact with.There's a lot of repetition involved in getting into the zone, and sometimes I wished the storytelling would get out of the way and lean into the unspoken feelings that the dioramas convey without a voiceover. However, none of that was enough to snap me out of its cosy spell.

Block party. We've been keeping an eye on Woodo since it was first announced for Switch back in 2024. This delightful-looking 3D puzzler warmed our cockles when it appeared back in the Indie World Direct earlier this year (accompanied by a Switch 2 announcement), and now, it finally has a release date. Developer Tiny Monks Tales took to socials to reveal that Woodo will launch on Switch 1 and 2 on 16th September — that's just one month away!
