Xenoblade Chronicles 2
What critics said
NintendoBoy90I understand those who are bothered by or criticize the direction the game took; on the other hand, that sense of excess and the absurdist side of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 actually fit quite well with the game's unique, over-the-top fantasy style. Masatsugu Saito’s character designs for Pyra and Mythra are honestly magnificent, and having played the game so many times, I’ve grown fond of the characters as actual people; ultimately, whether or not the artist had less-than-noble intentions behind the designs is something that just doesn't register for me.
Gfinity90You’ve likely played Xenoblade or know what to expect at this point. The bottom line is that if Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was already a must-play almost a decade ago, you’re doing yourself a disservice by not having this in your Switch 2 collection in 2026.
